Hospitals, Attendings & Rotations

PCOM is one of the most competitive osteopathic orthopedic residencies in the country. Residents are able to work with nationally renowned surgeons and attend a multitude of educational opportunities throughout the year. At the conclusion of training, residents have typically logged more than 1,200 cases.

PGY 2-5 residents rotate at 10 hospitals (7 Pennsylvania, 1 New Jersey, 1 Massachusetts, 1 Maryland) on 2 month long blocks. Residents learn from over 50 orthopedic surgeons, with the majority being fellowship trained. There is exposure to all sub-specialties with opportunities to work alongside some of the best surgeons in the country, whom publish frequently in leading journals and speak at national conferences.
